At HeliAir, we cover all aspects of fleet operations. We are an internationally operating helicopter and aircraft maintenance and service provider for EASA Part 145, Part M, as well as a fully licensed design, manufacturing and certification center for EASA Part 21 G and J.

OUR HISTORY
HeliAir has evolved from the in-house maintenance company of the Austrian Automobile Motorcycling and Touring Association (ÖAMTC) air rescue team to being one of Europe’s leading helicopter maintenance & service centers.
1978
The company Aircraft Innsbruck, which has been in existence since 1958, is taken over by Christian Schwemberger-Swarovski and Gernot Langes-Swarovski.

1979
Renaming and restructuring to Tyrolean Airways. The airline, air rescue and business travel divisions will be merged.

1982
Purchase of Helicopter Air Transport. Jakob Ringler is entrusted with the development of the Christophorus system.

1983
First commissioning of the Christophorus 1 in Innsbruck with partner ÖAMTC. In the following years, further Christophorus helicopters and bases are added.

1985
Renaming to Tyrolean Jet Services. Tyrolean is spinning off air rescue into Tyrol Air Ambulance and the helicopter division into HeliAir.

1995
Takeover of HeliAir by the ÖAMTC and successful integration. Kurt Noe Nordberg was in charge here.

1996
Jakob Ringler is retiring from the management board. Kurt Noe Nordberg and Gerhard Egger will take over the management responsibilities from now on.
